There’s no problem with practicing 20-30 minutes three days a week. That would be enough to give you the best results. But you can always go beyond that if you so wish.
Note that no matter how hard you practice, muscle memory always takes time to develop, so you shouldn’t rush the process.
If you work with other masters, they’ll suggest 15-20 minutes a day, but I know repeating a posture is a great way to do qigong as a beginner.

However, as you age, you should reduce the duration and the number of your sessions each week.
If, for instance, you used to practice20-30 minutes five times a week, you can reduce that to three times a week and only practice 15-20 minutes per session.
Even with less practice, provided you give it your all, you’ll still enjoy the benefits. This is what I always tell my students, both young and old.
